Introduction

With digital environments changing at breakneck speed, businesses are on the lookout for new ways to engage consumers. Metaverse settings and AI-enabled chatbots can serve as a transformational method to enhance customer interaction. By combining immersive virtual experiences with intelligent real-time interaction, enterprises can deliver more personalized, interactive and seamless customer journeys, enabling them with a competitive edge in next-generation digital engagement.

Objective

This book aims to explore how integrating metaverse platforms with AI chatbot technologies can significantly enhance consumer engagement in digital environments. By analyzing current advancements and presenting new frameworks, it seeks to provide actionable insights for businesses and researchers on leveraging these technologies for more immersive and personalized customer experiences. The book will fill gaps in existing literature by offering a comprehensive examination of the synergies between the metaverse and AI chatbots, thus advancing research on digital consumer behavior and the practical application of next-generation engagement strategies.

Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before June 18, 2026, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by July 2, 2026 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines.Full chapters of a minimum of 10,000 words (word count includes references and related readings) are expected to be submitted by September 10, 2026, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-anonymized review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Enhancing Consumer Engagement With Metaverse and AI Chatbot Integration. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-anonymized peer review editorial process.
