Introduction

Irrespective of times and age the significance of Human resources in organizations is known. But AI has transformed the current workplaces due to its intervention and future seems to be a virtual era. The organizations are foreseen to be restructuring according to that and this edited volume will focus on the significance of Artificial intelligence, Responsive organizational behaviour and the Digital HRM aspects that facilitates in influencing the future workplace. The book will focus upon chapters that deal with work automation, Hybrid work systems, employee engagement, AI driven decision making in workplace and responsive organizational behaviour. The chapters will be a combination of empirical studies, conceptual framework, Industry studies and perspectives that will provide practical and theoretical understanding about the chosen topic. The book is expected to bridge the gap between technology and human management by focusing on topics as below.

Objective

This publication is proposed to contribute to emerging scholars in HRM, organizational behavior, and management technology by providing contemporary frameworks linking AI and organizational behavior, encouraging interdisciplinary research, and offering empirical evidence from global industries. It is also anticipated to support future research on ethical AI, workforce transformation, and workplace innovation. As AI integration in HRM continues to evolve, the book is expected to establish foundational literature for future academic inquiry and policy development while promoting global knowledge sharing through the contributions of editors from various countries.

Target Audience

The edited book is targeted at academicians, researchers, postgraduate management students, PhD scholars, industry HR experts, HR consultants, organizations, and policymakers interested in Human Resource Management (HRM), organizational behavior (OB), general management, artificial intelligence, and the development of effective HR strategies.

Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before July 26, 2026, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by August 9, 2026 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines.Full chapters of a minimum of 10,000 words (word count includes references and related readings) are expected to be submitted by October 18, 2026, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-anonymized review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Integrating AI for Agile Organizational Behavior in Modern Human Resource Management. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-anonymized peer review editorial process.
