Call for Chapters

Proposals Submission Deadline: July 26, 2026
Full Chapters Due: October 18, 2026
Submission Date: October 18, 2026

Introduction

Ceramic nanocomposites have emerged as one of the most rapidly developing classes of advanced materials due to their remarkable mechanical, thermal, optical, electrical, catalytic, and biomedical properties. Recent advances in nanotechnology, additive manufacturing, artificial intelligence-assisted materials design, surface engineering, and sustainable manufacturing have significantly expanded the application areas of ceramic nanocomposites. This book aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the latest developments, industrial applications, manufacturing technologies, characterization methods, and future perspectives of ceramic nanocomposites. Contributions from academia, research institutions, and industry are welcomed.

Objective

The primary objective of this book is to provide a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of recent developments, emerging technologies, and future perspectives in the field of ceramic nanocomposites. The book aims to bridge fundamental ceramic science with advanced nanotechnology by covering raw materials, processing methods, manufacturing technologies, characterization techniques, industrial applications, and innovative research trends. Furthermore, this book seeks to highlight the growing role of ceramic nanocomposites in energy, environmental, biomedical, catalytic, sensing, and advanced manufacturing applications. It also aims to provide researchers, engineers, industry professionals, and graduate students with a valuable reference source that discusses current challenges, technological opportunities, sustainability aspects, and future research directions in ceramic nanocomposite technologies.

Target Audience

Researchers, academicians, engineers, industrial professionals, postgraduate students, and decision-makers working in materials science, nanotechnology, ceramics engineering, chemical engineering, environmental technologies, biomedical engineering, and advanced manufacturing.
