Introduction

The convergence of super-human AI capabilities and the systemic erosion of personal data privacy presents an existential threat. As AI-driven social engineering and deep-faked digital identities become indistinguishable from reality, traditional cybersecurity mechanisms are failing. This edited volume aims to provide a blueprint for a new "Privacy-by-Design" societal infrastructure. The book will investigate the central tension between the weaponization of AI for hyper-personalized exploitation and the adoption of decentralized, cryptographic defenses. By connecting high-level cryptography like Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs) with the sociological impacts of AI-driven manipulation, this work establishes a new interdisciplinary framework for "Cognitive Security". We invite contributions that explore how technology can enforce human rights more effectively than retrospective legislation, specifically targeting academics, cybersecurity professionals, and policy makers.

Objective

The book will be designed to be more than just a technical manual; it is a strategic blueprint for maintaining human autonomy in an era where AI can mimic us better than we can ourselves. The primary goal is to address the "existential threat" created by the convergence of super-human AI capabilities and the systemic erosion of personal data privacy. Specifically, the book aims to: Construct a Blueprint for "Privacy-by-Design": (1) Move beyond reactive security to create a societal infrastructure where privacy is baked into the architecture. (2) Shift the Power Dynamic: Utilize technologies like Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs) and Decentralized Identity (DID) to move control away from data-extractive corporations and back to the individual. (3) Neutralize AI-Driven Social Engineering: Provide technical and tactical defenses against "hyper-personalized" manipulation and deep-faked identities.

Target Audience

The target audience for this publication is interdisciplinary, aiming to bridge the gap between technical developers, legal scholars, and social advocates. The primary groups include: (1) Core Academic & Research Community (2) Scholars and Researchers (3) Interdisciplinary Academics (4) Technical Leaders & Practitioners (5) Cybersecurity Professionals & CTOs (6) Systems Architects (7) Practitioners and Innovators (8) Policy & Advocacy Groups (9) Human Rights Advocates (10) Policymakers & Regulators.
