This collection introduces segmentation, classification, and registration techniques for image and video processing, analyzing the evaluation metric datasets for image and video segmentation methods, and proposes algorithms and models for optimizing surveillance and monitoring systems. Two of the fourteen papers describe the embedding and extraction processes of video steganography and the design of reconfigurable architectures for a least significant bit (LSB) steganography system. Black and white images are provided. No peer review process is noted.

Amira S. Ashour is an Asst. Professor and Vice Chair of Computer Engineering Department of in Computers and Information Technology College, Taif University, KSA. Vice Chair of Computers Science Department of in Computers and Information Technology College, Taif University, KSA during 2006 till 2015. She is a Lecturer of Electronics and Electrical Communications Engineering, Faculty of Engg., Tanta University, Egypt. She got her Ph.D. in Smart Antenna (2005) in the Electronics and Electrical Communications Engineering, Tanta University, Egypt. She had her master in “Enhancement of Electromagnetic Non-Destructive Evaluation Performance Using Advanced Signal Processing Techniques,” Faculty of Engineering, Egypt, 2000. Her research interests include Image Processing, Medical Imaging, Smart Antenna and Adaptive Antenna Arrays.
Suvojit Acharjee is an Assistant Professor, NIT Agartala. He was M-Tech in Intelligent Automation and Robotics, Jadavpur University, 2012. He worked as Assistant System Engineer in Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, from 2012 to 2014. He got Indian Patent for a work titled: An efficient transreceiver for Bio-Medical data using Ant Wight Lifting Algorithm on 2014. He has several publications in SCI journals and several conferences. His research interests include Bio-Medical Image Processing, Image Segmentation, Video Compression, Soft Computing.
