Rashedul Hasan boasts a decade of experience in teaching accounting and finance-related modules, underpinned by a strong academic foundation. His qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance, a Master's degree in Finance, and a PhD in Accounting. In addition to his academic accomplishments, Dr. Hasan holds prestigious certifications, including membership in the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and fellowship status with the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). As a certified CIMA accountant, he possesses the unique ability to enhance students' proficiency in cost and management accounting. His teaching prowess is further acknowledged by the Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS), which has conferred upon him the Certified Management and Business Educator (CMBE) certificate. Dr. Hasan's scholarly contributions are notable, with a substantial body of work encompassing over 40 publications in esteemed journals such as Business Strategy and Environment, Finance Research Letters, Global Finance Journal, Thunderbird International Business Review, and Borsa Istanbul Review. His commitment to academic excellence extends to serving as an Associate Editor for the Quarterly Journal of Accounting and Finance, International Journal of Islamic and Middle Eastern Finance and Management, and the Journal of Economic Cooperation and Development. A dedicated participant in the academic community, Dr Hasan actively engages in conferences both within the United Kingdom and on the international stage. His scholarly impact is further amplified by the publication of his book, "Central Bank Digital Currency and the Global Financial System – Theory and Practice," by De Gruyter.
