Nuno Mateus-Coelho is a Professor of Information Security, Systems Intrusion, Cloud Security, and Data Privacy at Lusófona University in Porto, Portugal. He holds a BEng in Computer Systems Engineering and an MEng in Computer Science Engineering from the Polytechnic of Porto - School of Engineering (ISEP), specializing in cloud security and secure operating systems. He earned his DSc Summa Cum Laude in Computer Science from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD), with a focus on information security and secure operating systems. An accredited expert by the European Commission on R&I projects in the Horizon 2020, COSME, and CEF programs, Nuno is a sought-after speaker, having delivered keynotes at TED, IEEE, Websummit, and CNN Portugal. He is also the CEO & Founder of NRMC.PT. Since 2022, he has served as Chief Editor of ARIS2 - Advanced Research on Information Systems Security, an international journal, and Director of LAPI2S - Laboratory of Privacy and Information Systems Security. In addition to his academic and editorial roles, Nuno is an integrated researcher with CTS - Centro de Tecnologia e Sistemas at UNINOVA - Instituto de Desenvolvimento de Novas Tecnologias. He was honored with the INNCYBER Innovation Award in 2021 and again in 2023 (2nd place).
Maria Manuela Cruz-Cunha is a Full Professor in the School of Technology at the Polytechnic Institute of Cavado and Ave, Portugal. She holds a Dipl. Eng. (5 years) in the field of Systems and Informatics Engineering, an M.Sci. in the field of Computer Integrated Manufacturing, a Dr.Sci in of Production Systems Engineering and Habilitation in Informatics Engineering. She teaches subjects related with Information Systems, Information Technologies and Organizational Models to undergraduate and post-graduate studies. She has authored and edited 28 books and her work appears in 200 papers published in journals, book chapters and conference proceedings. She is founder and conference chair of the “CENTERIS – Conference on ENTERprise Information Systems”, “ViNOrg – Conference on Virtual and Networked Organizations Emergent Technologies and Tools” and “SeGAH – Serious Games and Applications for Health”. She is the editor-in-chief of the “International Journal of Web Portals” and serves as associate editor of some journals.
