The service division of an organisation is vibrant and unique and is always the first point of entry for a customer. As a result, workers in customer service environments must be aware of their emotional cues and know how to handle them without endangering their own behaviour or the organization’s reputation. The key finding of this study indicated that service workers understand emotional intelligence and importantly highlighted the importance of a leader’s emotional intelligence skills and how they affect both the customer and service staff.

Kannapat Kankaew is currently an Assistant Professor at Burapha University International College. He received Doctor of Public Administration majoring in Human Resources Management. Before his 12 years as an academic professional, he worked in the aviation industry for over 10 years. He has published and participated in International Conferences reputed journals. He also published chapters in edited books, being a books editor, and examiner for Ph.D. and Master students in both national and international institutions. And he was dedicated as an editorial board, associate editor, and reviewer for various domestic and international journals.
Shilpa did Ph. D. Agronomy (2022) from CSK HPKV, Palampur. She is ASRB-ICAR-NET qualified and the overall university rank holder during graduation and doctorate programme. Dr Shilpa has served as Assistant Professor at Abhilashi University,Mandi, Himachal Pradesh (2018) and Project Associate at CSKHPKV,Palampur (2022-23).Dr. Shilpa is presently serving as Assistant Professor, School of Agriculture, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab. She has also been serve the responsibility of secretary (2020-21) and president (2021-2022) of Student Association (P.G.) at CSKHPKV, Palampur. Dr Shilpa has guided 4 M.Sc students as major advisor. She has been awarded with 2 National awards by Professional Societies. She has published 55 research/conference papers, one book, 26 book chapters and 13 popular articles (Hindi &English).Dr. Shilpa has attended 7 national trainings till date.
Sarun Widtayakornbundit is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities, Department of Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Kasetsart University, a leading national institute in Thailand. He worked in a variety of business fields before pursuing an academic career. The research interests are focused on the areas of Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Education Management, and Hotel and Tourism Management.
