Dr. Sharon Valarmathi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Commerce at CHRIST (Deemed to be University). With over 20 years of experience in teaching and academic research, her expertise spans taxation laws, auditing, and general management. She has contributed extensively to service learning, teacher occupational stress, and knowledge management through numerous publications in SCOPUS-indexed journals. Dr. Valarmathi is the co-editor of the SCOPUS-indexed books 'Enhancing Student Engagement in Service Learning' and 'Enhancing Curricula through Service Learning Models'. She also holds a copyright on the 'Service-Learning Phases and Student's Experience Model.' Her research emphasises community engagement, digital skills education, and sustainable community partnerships. Dr Valarmathi has played a pivotal role in institutionalising service-learning programs and has led several faculty development and capacity-building initiatives.
Jacqueline Kareem holds a PhD in Education on the topic ‘Organizational Culture, Leadership Styles, Personal Commitment and Learning Organization: An Exploratory study’. She completed her MPhil in Individualized learning and cooperative learning: an experimental study. Master's in Education research was on Educational technology. She has over 21 years of work experience. Seven years of working for the corporate in the area of Computer Programming and since 2009 as a Teacher Educator in the School of Education, Christ University, Bangalore, India. She specializes in teaching of Pedagogy of Mathematics, Educational Psychology, Educational Technology, Quantitative Research Methodology, Assessment and learning, and Educational Statistics. Major research interests are in the area of educational leadership and management, Pedagogy of mathematics and physics, educational technology and Inclusive education. She is keenly interested in the latest technological and pedagogical innovations used to empower the student-teachers. She has been the coordinator for Service learning for the department since 10 years. She has presented and published a number of research articles in reputed Universities and Scientific Journals. She is a trainer for implementation of STEM education and ESD, AI in education, ICT in Education, Quantitative research methods and software packages used for teaching learning and assessment.
Veerta Tantia is working as Associate Professor at the Department of Commerce, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Hosur Road, Bangalore, India. Her research areas are in Accounting and Finance. She has researched on organisational culture, Occupational stress on self-efficacy on Teachers, Corporate Performance of India Companies . She has presented and participated in several International Conferences.
Kishore Selva Babu is an Associate Professor of English at CHRIST University. He has over 13 years of teaching experience in language and literature. His research focuses on English Language Teaching (ELT), particularly reading and listening skills. He also explores the role of AI in language learning. Dr. Kishore has guided two PhD scholars and supervises six doctoral candidates. He co-authored ENGlogue-1 and ENGlogue-2, published by Cambridge University Press. His recent work emphasizes enhancing English for employability. He is a prolific researcher with several Scopus-indexed publications. He has collaborated with universities in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Qatar, and the USA. These experiences enriched his understanding of educational policies and pedagogies. At CHRIST, he actively participates in the Service Learning Centre and academic events, reflecting his commitment to innovation. Dr. Kishore is also an Associate Teacher at Singapore University of Social Sciences. There, he teaches interdisciplinary Global Learning.
