Description:

In a rapidly transforming global landscape, societies around the world are being tested by a series of unprecedented challenges. From political instability, armed conflicts, and authoritarian resurgence to climate change, pandemics, and deep-rooted cultural shifts, the fabric of many nations is being stretched to its limits. Yet, amidst the turmoil, the concept of societal resilience has emerged as a powerful lens through which we can understand the capacity of communities, institutions, and cultures to withstand, adapt, and ultimately thrive in the face of adversity.

Global Societal Resilience Through Political, Environmental, and Cultural Upheaval explores how resilience is constructed, challenged, and reinforced across different contexts. It investigates how societies navigate crises, how governance structures respond to mounting pressures, how environmental degradation and climate threats are managed, and how cultural identities and values either fragment or unify populations in moments of tension. Covering topics such as artificial intelligence, economic resilience, and renewable energy, this book is an excellent resource for academicians, researchers, policy makers, government officials, practitioners, graduate and postgraduate students, and more.
