Shai Rozenes is the head of the Engineering and Management of Service Systems Department in Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering. He obtained his PhD in Industrial Engineering from the Coventry University in the United Kingdom. His major filed of expertise are: service management project management. He is involved in international research within European and international research networks. Dr. Rozenes has published in refereed scientific journals and conferences. Shai is the co- founder and Chief Academic Officer of the Afeka Center for Service Engineering and Management. Dr. Rozenes is also a consultant in industry.
Yuval Cohen is a senior professor at Afeka Tel-Aviv Academic College of Engineering. Previously he was the head of the Industrial Engineering program at the Open University of Israel. His areas of specialty are production planning, industrial learning, design of manufacturing control systems, and logistics management. He has published several papers in these areas. He served several years as a senior operations planner at FedEx Ground (USA) and received several awards for his contributions to the hub and terminal network planning. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh (USA), his M.Sc. from the Technion ? Israel Institute of Technology, and B.Sc. from Ben-Gurion University. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), and a full member of the Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences (INFORMS).
