Syed Hasan Jafar is an Area Chair/ HOD of Finance at Woxsen University. He has around 14 Years of experience in the field of Finance and worked as a Deputy Research Head and Corporate trainer before joining academics. He comes on several national & International media channels, including CNBC, AajTak, BizTak, ET, The Finance World, Dubai, and others, as a financial expert to share his view on the Financial market. He is a contributing writer for “The Economic Times” on various Finance topics. He shares his opinion on the global magazine “The Finance World,” published in the Middle East and diverse countries, including India. He is a Board member of various corporate and a financial advisor for multiple companies. His areas of expertise are Security Analysis, Equity and Derivative Research, and Valuation. He has taken several sessions at top universities in India and abroad. He was awarded Best Faculty of the Year 2020-21 and best faculty of corporate alignment in the Year 2022-23 at Woxsen University. He conducted over 50 Investor awareness programs nationwide and was awarded the best Research Analyst multiple times during his corporate journey.
Raul Villamarin Rodriguez is the Vice President at Woxsen University. He holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Process Automation Applications in Human Resources from San Miguel University, Mexico. Under his leadership, Woxsen University has partnered with 50+ Leading Universities in 35 countries across 6 continents. He has been instrumental in bringing International Exchange Programs & Research opportunities with the said global partner universities for students and faculty. His areas of expertise span across the domain of Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Robotic Process Automation, Multi-agent Systems, Data Analytics (Big Data), Cybersecurity Management and Knowledge Engineering. Dr. Raul has been part of significant research during his tenure, primarily through RRBM, GRLI, and PRME. He has also played vital roles in organizing renowned educational symposiums for institutions like the Oxford Brookes University, UK and European Union-government bodies in Brussels, Belgium. A young achiever, Dr. Raul, has recently been awarded in the Europe India 40 under 40 Leaders and nominated in Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe 2020. His achievements also highlight him as a registered expert in Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Systems, and Multi-agent Systems at the European Commission. Treading the path of thought leadership in the education domain, Dr. Raul has made his place as a member of international bodies such as GRLI Deans and Directors cohort, Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, and the Institute for Robotics Process Automation & Artificial Intelligence (IRPA AI). As a staunch knowledge contributor to his field of expertise, Dr. Raul is frequently seen as the keynote speaker and panel moderator at various national and international conferences. In addition, he has co-authored two reference books: ‘New Age Leadership: A Critical Insight’ and ‘Retail Store’e’ and has more than 70 publications to his credit. He is also a weekly contributing writer to various magazines, a notable journal reviewer, and an associate editor in renowned publications such as IEEE.
Dr. Hemachandran K is a distinguished academic and researcher in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Business Analytics. He serves as the Director of the AI Research Centre and Associate Dean of the Graduate Program at the School of Business, Woxsen University. Dr. Hemachandran holds multiple prestigious positions, including Area Chair of the Analytics Department and named professorships: the Zita Zoltay Paprika Professor of Decision Sciences & Business Economics and the Course5i Chair Professor of Business Analytics and Machine Learning. His expertise spans Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, contributing significantly to the School of Business at Woxsen University.
Shakeb Akhtar is currently Assistant Professor, Program Director (MBA-FS) and Research Coordinator (SOB) at Woxsen University. He holds an MFC and Ph.D. in Banking and Finance from Aligarh Muslim University, India. He specializes in accounting and finance related courses and has over 10 years teaching experience in accounting and finance at both tertiary and senior high school levels. His research interest is in banking industry, behavioral economics, and secondary data analysis techniques namely; static panel estimation, dynamic panel estimation, ARDL panel modulation and time series estimation, efficiency analysis, sustainability and SDG's with seven years of research experience. He has 17 publication, published in ABDC, ABS, Scopus and Web of Science journals.
Philipp Plugmann has been Professor of Interdisciplinary Periodontology and Prevention in the Bachelor's degree program in Dental Hygienist at the Leverkusen campus of the SRH University of Applied Sciences since February 1, 2020. After studying dentistry at the University of Cologne and passing the state examination in 2000, he received his doctorate in 2005 from the University Hospital of Cologne in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In addition, he completed his doctoral studies in medical sciences (grade: very good) at the Private University of the Principality of Liechtenstein (UFL) in 2013. He holds a Master of Science in Periodontology and Implant Therapy from DGParo (grade 1.6), Master of Business Administration with a focus on Health Care Management and Master of Science in Business Innovation. In total, he has published 95 papers in the fields of dentistry, innovation and technology and edited 12 german and English-language books. His first book on future trends in medical technology was reviewed in 2012 by CISCO, a major U.S. technology company. His second book in 2018 “Shaping Innovation Environments” published by Springer Gabler Verlag had over 30,100 chapter downloads in the first 000 months. During his 23 years of dental professional activity, he has also founded 2 companies dealing with prevention and services in healthcare, the development of surgical software for dental surgeries and digital technologies. He has presented research results on innovations in healthcare at conferences at Harvard University (USA), the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition (Munich) and Nanyang Tech University (Singapore), among others. Parallel to his practice, Prof. Dr. Dr. Philipp Plugmann was active for 12 years at universities in Karlsruhe, Cologne and Bielefeld, where he was also able to accompany master's theses as a supervisor and first examiner. From 2007 to 2016 he was a lecturer in the field of innovation at the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences and was awarded by the Rector for outstanding teaching. Since 2013, he has been a Research Fellow at the University Clinic of Dentistry Marburg in the Department of Periodontology, where he has also been honored for outstanding commitment due to his case reports, lectures and international research presentations.
