Prof Brij B. Gupta received the PhD degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, India (One of the oldest technical institutes in Asia). In more than 19 years of his professional experience, he published over 500 papers in journals/conferences including 40 books and 10 Patents with over 30000 citations. He has received numerous national and international awards including 2022 Best researcher award from Asia University, Taiwan (2022), Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship (2009), Govt. of Canada, Visvesvaraya Faculty Research Fellowship Award (2017), MeitY, Govt of India, IEEE GCCE outstanding and WIE best paper awards and Best Faculty Award (2018 & 2019), NIT KKR, India respectively. Prof Gupta is also serving as Distinguished Research Scientist with LoginRadius Inc., USA which is one of leading cybersecurity companies in the world, especially in the field of customer identity and access management (CIAM). He has been recognized as a Clarivate Web of Science Highly Cited Researcher in Computer Science (top 0.1% researchers globally) consecutively in 2022 and 2023 and has been included in Stanford University's ranking of the world's top 2% scientists consecutively in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. He is also a visiting/adjunct professor with several universities (i.e. Temple University, Macquarie University, Yamaguchi University, University of Murcia, Deakin University, Staffordshire University, Swinburne University of Technology, etc) worldwide. He is also an IEEE Senior Member (2017) and also selected as 2021 Distinguished Lecturer in IEEE CTSoc. Dr Gupta is also serving as Member-in-Large, Board of Governors, IEEE Consumer Technology Society (2022-2024). Prof. Gupta is also leading IJSWIS, IJSSCI and IJCAC, IGI Global, as Editor-in-Chief. Moreover, he is also serving as lead-editor of Book Series with CRC, World Scientific and IET press. He also served as TPC members and organized/special session chairs in ICCE 2021, GCCE 2014-2021 and TPC Chair in 2018 INFOCOM:CCSNA Workshop, Publicity Co-chair in 2020 ICCCN, etc. Dr Gupta is also serving/served as Associate/Guest Editor of IEEE TII, IEEE TITS, IoT, IEEE Big Data, ASOC, FGCS, etc. At present, Prof. Gupta is working as Director, International Center for AI and Cyber Security Research and Innovations, and Distinguished Professor with the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering (CSIE), Asia University, Taiwan. His research interests include cyber security, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, intrusion detection, blockchain technologies, cyber physical systems, social media and networking.
Deepak Kalra is an Associate Professor, and Deputy Vice Chancellor at Skyline University College, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. He holds Doctor of Philosophy from Banasthali Vidyapith, India in the field of Management, with primary research on e-Market and e-Commerce. He completed his Master of Business Administration from prestigious University of Lincoln, United Kingdom with major in Marketing Management with research in developing Educational Supply Chains. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering in the field of Computer Technology from Nagpur University, India with base research on Compiler Design and Semantic Parsing. He has served in the capacity of CEO in various well-known companies in United Arab Emirates and India, with focus on Process Transformation and change management through ERP Systems. Dr. Deepak Kalra has more than two decades of work experience in both industry and academia. In the field of Higher Education he has taught in prominent Universities in UAE, USA, UK and India. He is founder Dean of School of Information Technology at Skyline University College. He has established distance learning and e-learning system of the university as Director Learning Resources. He is involved in strengthening Master’s program as Dean Graduate Program of School of Business. He has published more than thirty research articles in reputed international research journals, Publisher of a Book, and 2 Patents in the field of power and Internet of Things. He is engaged in consultancy projects with various reputed Government, Semi Government and private companies in Middle East and Africa. His teaching, research and consulting area of interest includes ESG, Sustainability, Strategic Governance, Strategic Management, Digital Marketing, and Business Transformation through Digital means.
Ammar Almomani is a distinguished academic and researcher with over 20 years of combined teaching and industry experience in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and computer science. He also works as a consultant on various AI and cybersecurity initiatives and is a recipient of the prestigious UAE Golden Visa. Prof. Almomani holds a Ph.D. in Advanced Internet Security and Monitoring from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), He has taught over 47 specialized topics in cybersecurity and computer science, including Network Security and Artificial Intelligence. Prof. Almomani has published more than 200+ articles in reputable journals and conferences, with over 142+ indexed in Scopus,10 academic books, His contributions include 10 patents (eight in Germany and two in India) and several ongoing submissions. Recognized among the Top 2% of Global Influential Researchers by Stanford University and Scopus (2023–2024,2025), he also serves as a consultant and expert member of the UAE Research Map (R&D). • Prof. Almomani has supervised numerous undergraduate and postgraduate research projects (MSc/Ph.D.) across countries such as the UK, Malaysia, and Jordan. He has chaired and co-chaired various international conferences and journals and maintains an active digital presence with over 120,000 readers and followers on ResearchGate. In addition to his academic and research endeavors, Prof. Almomani has extensive leadership experience, having served as Head of the Research and Innovation Department and IT Department for 6 years. He has contributed to curriculum development, program accreditation (including ABET and AACSB), and the establishment of specializations in both Jordan and the UAE. Prof. Almomani continues to make a significant impact in the fields of cybersecurity,AI and higher education, fostering innovation and collaboration at local and international levels.
