Zian Shah Kabir is an experienced information systems specialist with a background in the telecommunication industry for +17 years. Zian completed his PhD in information systems engineering under the Faculty of Engineering & IT at UTS. He is serving as a casual academic and worked as a research assistant on a digital health project. Before attending the PhD program, he attained a master's in information and telecommunication engineering and a bachelor's degree in electrical and electronic engineering. Zian has a long tenure track and professional experience in the telecommunication industry. He served as a Deputy Director at the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC). he is an affiliated member of the Institutions of Engineers Bangladesh (IEB), KAIST GCC (Commercialization Center), International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), Systems Engineering Society of Engineering (SESA), Australian Computer Society (ACS), and Commonwealth Engineers Council.
