Description:

The intersection of human rights and artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare represents a critical area of discussion as technological advancements reshape the medical field. AI offers the potential to revolutionize healthcare delivery by improving diagnostic accuracy, personalizing treatment plans, and streamlining administrative tasks. However, its integration into healthcare systems raises ethical and human rights concerns. Issues like data privacy, algorithmic bias, informed consent, and equitable access to AI-driven care must be carefully considered to ensure that AI technologies uphold the rights of patients. Striking a balance between innovation and human rights is essential for ensuring AI contributes to more inclusive and accountable healthcare systems, where dignity and autonomy are respected, and health outcomes are improved without discrimination. As AI becomes embedded in healthcare, establishing frameworks for ethical governance and human rights protections will be critical.

Intersection of Human Rights and AI in Healthcare explores the intersection between AI and healthcare, with a focus on the human element and ethical considerations. It delves into the implications of AI on human skills, the future workforce, and the role of ethical development in healthcare applications. This book covers topics such as ethics and law, patient safety, and policymaking, and is a useful resource for government officials, policymakers, healthcare professionals, academicians, scientists, and researchers.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a global phenomenon. The Information Technology (IT) professionals must have a relevant knowledge base for their projects. This book Intersection of Human Rights and AI in Healthcare, presents a holistic perspective of my 5Ss’- Self, Society, State, System and Spirituality, for managing projects. It distinguishes itself from other scholarly works in healthcare by addressing human wellness and dignity related issues under the 5Ss’. Thus, publishing “Tomorrow's Research Today”, focusing underrepresented areas of study for those developing and using AI in healthcare.

This paper explores the feasibility of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Indian trial courts, emphasizing AI-Assisted Adjudication over AI-Adjudication. It identifies potential applications of AI, addresses challenges, and offers recommendations. The conclusion highlights the importance of AI-Assisted Adjudication for efficient and timely justice delivery.

– S. Srinivasan

My publication, The Intersection of Human Rights and AI in Healthcare, focuses a much-needed spotlight on balancing technical progress with sound ethical principles, ensuring fair, equitable access to AI-driven healthcare solutions. This book would be a foundational reference to how AI provides the ability and means for people to enjoy or exercise human rights and responsibility in addressing newly emerging, continuing, or consolidating health inequities.
