By IGI Global Scientific Publishing on Mar 21, 2017
IGI Global eCollections Available Through GOBI IGI Global, an international publisher of progressive academic research, is pleased to announce their information science and technology eCollections are now available for purchasing through GOBI® Library Solutions. IGI Global will be utilizing its own award-winning InfoSci® Platform to offer direct access to its extensive line of databases and e-book collections ordered in GOBI Library Solutions, EBSCO’s web-based acquisition and collection management interface. This integration will significantly streamline the IGI Global title selection and fulfillment process through the GOBI Library Solutions interface, allowing librarians even more ordering flexibility than ever before.

GOBI Library Solutions partners with leading academic publishers to make eCollections hosted on publisher platforms available for purchase in the GOBI acquisition and collection management tool. When users order eCollections directly in GOBI, they benefit from duplication control against their other print book and e-book purchases, one-stop customer service in support of all of their GOBI-purchased eCollections and they retain key publishers in their approval and notification plans.

For inclusion in the GOBI purchasing platform, IGI Global is offering access to their InfoSci-Databases. Featuring no DRM, unlimited simultaneous users, RSS feeds and persistent URLs, these collections remain at the forefront of progressive academic e-resources.
